Compared with plunger injection molding machine, screw injection molding machine has the following advantages:
1. The quality of screw type plasticizing material is better than that of plunger type.
2. The mixing performance of screw type is better than that of plunger type.
The plunger type injection molding machine uses the plunger to push the raw materials falling into the barrel into the plasticized cavity at the front end of the barrel in turn. The raw materials in the cavity rely on the peripheral heater of the barrel to provide heat and are plasticized into a molten state. Then the molten materials are injected into the mould cavity through the rapid forward movement of the plunger, and are cold formed.
The structure and working method of screw injection molding machine are the same as that of plunger injection molding machine. The difference is that the plunger in the first barrel is changed to screw. First, the raw material is plasticized by the screw, and then the molten material is pushed into the forming mould by the plunger to cool and form.
